April Sustainability Stories

At Grand Casino Arena, Saint Paul RiverCentre, and Roy Wilkins Auditorium, sustainability isn’t a side initiative. It’s part of the experience delivered to every client, exhibitor, and guest who walks through the doors. Today’s event planners and attendees expect more than a well-run show; they’re looking for partners who share their values.

With April being Earth Month, our sustainability was in the spotlight.

Saint Paul RiverCentre's Trees for Travel program was one of those initiatives. Event organizers can opt in to purchasing carbon credit that fund tree planting projects across the Twin Cities based on their estimated attendee travel. Read the full story in the Pioneer Press here.

Our sustainability was highlighted on Earth Day as Saint Paul RiverCentre General Manager Kate Setley spoke with WCCO-TV about more of our green practices. Watch the full interview here

Director of Communications and Marketing Tracy Perlman spoke with KSTP earlier in April about ways people at home can make sustainable changes just like at the venues. Watch the KSTP interview here.
